This year the charity of the Halve van de Haar is the Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis Utrecht.

On an annual basis there are about 7,000 children who all wake up on the recovery (recovery room) of the Wilhelmina Kinderziekenhuis (WKZ) after an operation or examination. We want to give all these youngsters who spend some time in the recovery department a positive memory in the form of a plush dromedary. So that the misery is forgotten for a while.
