Is there time registration?
At all parts of Kasteelloop De Halve van De Haar the MYLAPS BibTag will be used to register your time. On the back of your start number (Bib) is an electronic chip (Tag) and a plastic spacer. BibTag makes recording your times very easy, all you have to do is wear the race number correctly.
Information to ensure proper timekeeping
Wear the start number visibly on the chest. Do not cover the start number with a jacket or with your hands while passing the mats at the start and finish line. These mats will pick up the signal from your BibTag. (Also be careful when pressing your own stopwatch at the start and finish line).
Do not fold or crease the start number. Especially not where the Tag sits.
Use four pins on the corners of the start number, do not pierce the Tag.
Do not remove the plastic spacer.
The BibTag works based on a different technology than the MYLAPS ChampionChip. Therefore, you cannot use your yellow or green MYLAPS ChampionChip during this event. However, you can just leave your MYLAPS ChampionChip attached to your shoe, it does not interfere with the BibTag system.
The Tags do not have to be taken in after the race, you can keep the start number (with Tag) as a souvenir or throw it away in the regular trash (plastic).
What is the official time?
The gross time is the official time. It starts the moment the starting gun drops and stops the moment you cross the finish line. The net time is the time that starts when you cross the mat on the starting line and stops when you cross the finish line. This net time is listed as an additional service.

Do you have a question or remark about your results? Send an e-mail to Mylaps Event Timing based on your bib number and any times you have clocked yourself.
